This project holds special significance as it marked the inception of Cameron Custom. It all began when a mutual friend purchased a classic 1970s Camelot Homes property in McCormick Ranch. The homeowners were captivated by the home's prime location and original ranch-style architecture, and loved that it was originally built by Camelot Homes, yet they envisioned a modern transformation that would blend contemporary design with its timeless appeal.

We undertook a meticulous remodel, reimagining every aspect of the home while preserving its timeless character. The renovation involved opening up walls, filling in sunken rooms, and redesigning the master suite, including removing a sunken tub. We completely revamped the front elevation and restored the landscaping, which had become overgrown over the years.

This comprehensive remodel breathed new life into the space, providing the couple and their family with a beautiful, refreshed home to enjoy for years to come. More significantly, this project laid the foundation for the creation of Cameron Custom—Camelot Homes’ custom division—dedicated to high-end renovations and bespoke luxury new builds.
