Kitchen - Introducing #ParadiseValleyHacienda: A Santa Barbara–Inspired Sanctuary in Paradise Valley

We are thrilled to reveal another completed luxury home by Cameron Custom – introducing #ParadiseValleyHacienda: a Santa Barbara–inspired sanctuary in Paradise Valley. Nestled beneath the ever-present silhouette of Camelback Mountain, #ParadiseValleyHacienda unfolds as a serene escape that marries timeless Spanish–Santa Barbara architecture with the warmth and personality of home. Collaborating with Alisha Taylor Interiors from the outset, this residence was envisioned as a refined yet inviting retreat – one where each detail whispers the relaxed spirit of a Spanish hacienda, while honoring the modern needs of its out-of-state clients for a getaway home.

From the moment you arrive, architectural details reveal themselves in quiet, thoughtful layers. The home’s façade is defined by smooth white stucco, a classic terracotta-tiled roofline, and hand-carved archways that frame courtyards and patios. Wrought iron accents and custom window grilles nod to Spanish heritage, while subtle brick details soften the stucco with a time-worn warmth. Each design choice creates an authenticity that feels both historic and fresh.

Stepping inside, your gaze is immediately drawn upward: vaulted ceilings stretch high, anchored by exposed dark-wood beams that trace the rhythm of the home’s open-plan layout. Beneath, plaster-white walls serve as an elegant canvas for the rich contrast of moody cabinetry and deep wood finishes – each surface a study in balance between scale and repose. This play of light and texture, softened by Alisha’s curated textiles and layered greenery, delivers a welcoming intimacy within vast architectural volume.

At the heart of the home, the kitchen and adjoining bar call with effortless charm. Mocha blue-gray cabinetry pairs beautifully with handpicked Spanish-style tile, while a commanding central island invites gathering – whether for meals, homework sessions, or morning coffee. A cozy cocktail nook, with encaustic tile and espresso-stained cabinets, creates the perfect setting for casual happy hours or quiet evenings.

Nearby, the great room balances drama and comfort with character. Rustic beams cradle an iron chandelier overhead; below, plush seating frames a tiled fireplace. Here, Alisha leveraged symmetry, fabrics, and living accents to soften the expansive room into one that feels both grand and approachable.

Around every corner, expressive tile adds unexpected flair and personality. The powder bath, a true showstopper, juxtaposes equestrian-inspired wallpaper with terra-cotta checkerboard flooring and moody cabinetry – playful, stylish, and utterly memorable. In contrast, the primary suite offers a soothing escape: layered linens, sage tones, and subtle striped wallpaper evoke calm, while the adjacent bath treats the senses to sea-green, hand-glazed tile and a sculptural tub that gazes out onto a private patio.

The home’s design thoughtfully accommodates family life. A mudroom outfitted with built-ins, woven baskets, and patterned terracotta-style flooring organizes shoes, gear, and family arrivals without sacrificing style. A playful bunk room – with a combination of upper and lower bunks – awaits sleepovers and sibling adventures with personality and comfort in equal measure.

Outside, the lifestyle really begins to unfold. The backyard was crafted as a resort-worthy oasis by Berghoff Design Group – a pool, spa, and generous patios all arranged to frame sweeping views of Camelback Mountain to the West. An outdoor basketball court, spacious lawn, and strategically oriented loggias encourage play, gathering, and relaxation under the open sky. Whether it’s morning laps, an impromptu basketball game, or evening alfresco dinners, the home’s indoor-outdoor flow invites constant connection.

#ParadiseValleyHacienda is more than architecture – it’s craft, collaboration, and the creation of memories. Built by Cameron Custom with meticulous attention to detail, and shaped by Alisha Taylor Interiors’ thoughtful design direction, this home reflects a legacy of timeless design and intimate livability. It stands as an emblem of what a home should be: warm, grounded, beautiful, and beautifully lived-in.
